    Community Support and Endorsements

It is so very much needed in our community today.

In our community of Alameda, we need no one to be left homeless especially a needy senior who is in their final days without the basic necessities to survive. God bless…

Homelessness is a public health crisis – we have the means and the will to do better, and it’s the right thing to do.

AUSD students who are homeless and their families will directly benefit from the services of the Resource Center. Alameda Unified School District Board of Education supports the establishment and operation of the Senior housing and Medical Respite Center at McKay Ave. and will dedicate appropriate staff to serve on a stakeholder advisory group to ensure that the Center establishes and follows practices and principles that promote the wellness and safety of clients and community alike.

I think this project is an essential service at a time when many elderly people are becoming homeless.

I support this project because it helps those who among the most vulnerable in our community.  It is the decent thing to do and it is the right thing to do.

This service is badly needed and this is a perfect location.

We’re going to need a lot more places like this as long as folks refuse to build new housing.

Thank you for helping vulnerable seniors in our community!

How can one not support taking care of our senior community members who are homeless and in need of health care?  The beneficial outcomes you have listed tell the story of need and impact. Thank you for leading the charge and making this happen

As a community we are judged by how we treat the most vulnerable among us. This project is one small step toward providing support and care for those that need it the most.
