APC signs lease for McKay Ave federal center

On September 26th APC signed a lease with the Health and Human Services Department of the United States and took immediate control of the Federal Center on McKay Ave. in Alameda. According to APC Executive Director Doug Biggs, “it has been more than a year of preparation to get to this point, now we are ready to implement our commitment to the federal government and the community to establish a national model, quality project to serve the needs of senior and medically fragile homeless.”
